From 1991 to 1994, she portrayed the part of the manager of public relations Lorna Devon in the soap opera "Another world" (1964-1999). Lorna found out that her mom, Felicia (played Linda Dano) was an unlegitimate girl during only one episode. When the series ended in 1994, Coppola had to leave the character and she took over the role of Lorna by a fellow actor Robin Christopher
